Dex has been on the session scene in Nottingham for a number of years and in this time has aquired a wide range of skills making him versitile in both the studio and live onstage. Dex has his own studio at home where he spends a lot of time writing, recording and producing music for himself and other people, so along with this and doing numerous studio sessions for other people has aquired useable skills within a studio setting such as playing to a click, following a score, getting great drum sounds and playing under pressure making him a quick, no fuss and handy studio drum player with all his own quality gear and transport, striving to provide bands, artists and songwriters with the beats and grooves they need.
In a live setting Dex can provide a solid groove for any artist/ group to work on top of. He welcomes pre-written or scored material, and is confident playing improvised pieces or odd measures, and strives to provide artists with the upmost of professionalism, as they allow him to make a living doing what he loves.
